What a fantastic day for the "Breakfast in the Park". The turnout was incredible! You can feel the excitement, energy, and momentum our party is building (even in Denver). I want to thank Barbara Fallon for organizing such a great event, and inviting me to be a part of it. I encourage all of you to attend upcoming DCRW events!
I had the great pleasure of speaking at the Mesa County Republicans lunch today. It was fantastic to see more than 100 Republicans pack the room at Two Rivers Convention Center, and Mark Hillman gave a great speech! I want to thank Barb and Gary Brewer, Duncan McArthur, and Kathy Hall for all their help and support. Looking forward to many more trips out in beautiful western Colorado!
I was happy to have the chance to meet and address the Adams County Republican Women Lunch in Northglenn today. It was a fantastic turnout. I want to thank Mary Dambman for the invitation to speak today! Rep. Kevin Priola gave a great wrap-up of the legislative session and spoke of his great hopes for Republicans in the next legislative session. He has done a great job representing House District 30.
For any Republicans that are looking to become active in the Adams County area, I hope you will consider attending one of their lunches!
I had the great pleasure of attending the El Paso County Republican Party Beach Party on Saturday at the El Paso Fairgrounds and was honored to have won the straw poll for the State Treasurer’s race! In the other race of the day, the chili cook-off, I have to give the title to Rep. Mark Waller’s recipe…pretty spicy with great flavor. It was great to see so many of our Republican legislators who worked so hard this year to stand up for Colorado taxpayers. On hand were Sens. Bill Cadman and Mark Scheffel, and state Reps. Marsha Looper, Amy Stephens and Frank McNulty. It was also good to see State Board of Education member Peggy Littleton. Congratulations to county chair Kay Rendleman for such a great event and for again demonstrating why El Paso County is such a great hotbed of Republican leadership.
On Memorial Day, when we pause to remember the many brave Americans who have fought and died for our freedom, I was proud to be with the Adams County Republican party as they prepared to march in the annual parade in Commerce City. Adams County Chair Clark Bolser and Past Chair Mary Dambman are doing a great job in a county that I will visit often as I campaign for State Treasurer. It was very exciting to see 50 strong Republicans in red t-shirts march in honor of the fallen from Adams County.
